Dear ,
Last week, HBHA hosted three very successful Kindergarten Round Up sessions, with 38 prospective Kindergarteners. Our recruitment efforts are moving in a very positive direction, and we look forward to continued growth for enrollment in 2017-18. A special thanks to HBHA Admissions Director, Tamara Lawson Schuster, as well as our staff, faculty, parents and other HBHA advocates for spreading the word about the many wonderful things going on at our school.
Speaking of wonderful things happening here, it is my pleasure to invite you to HBHA’s Civic Service Award Celebration, which takes place March 26 at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. We hope you can join us to celebrate our next chapter of educating and nurturing Jewish youth. As always, the event supports educational operations and financial aid to ensure our children continue to receive the best in Jewish and general education.
We look forward to celebrating the work of CSA honorees Crosby Kemper III and Jonathan Kemper, who bring education into the public spotlight through their work with the Kansas City Public Library, as well as Seymour Krinsky, program book honoree, and Andrea Levitan, our John Weil Uhlmann Young Leadership Award Recipient. Please click here to learn more, and to purchase your tickets for what promises to be a very special event.
Shabbat Shalom,
Howard Haas

Academy Access Program: Make Your Gift Today!
We want every parent to participate in this year’s  Academy Access Program! Access is a unique tuition model that is vital to giving each of our children access to the benefits of an HBHA education. The program saves our families money, keeps our educational foundation strong, and reduces the need for financial assistance across the board.
Tuition this year is $9,300, but the cost of your child’s education is approximately $17,500. Your donation helps fill that $8,200 gap. If you have not yet contributed, an Access committee member will be calling you to discuss your gift. If you prefer, you may make your Access gift online at hbha.edu/donate. Any contribution in any amount is appreciated as we seek 100% participation. Thank you.

The minute you take to read Humans of HBHA: Best Friends, could be the best minute of your day! Thanks to reporter Eliana Schuster and photographer Haidee Clauer for this sweet insight.
