Tours
Tours of the Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy are available weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Tours are geared towards families wishing to apply for admission the following school year. Please contact Tamara Lawson Schuster, Director of Admissions, to schedule your personal tour.

Taste of Kindergarten
Each January two Taste of Kindergarten evening programs are offered for families with children entering kindergarten the following school year (applicants must be five by August 31 of their enrollment year). Parents will meet the Head of School, the Head of Jewish Studies, the Principal and the Director of Admissions and will have an opportunity to learn about HBHA and the kindergarten program. Students will do activities in the kindergarten classroom with the kindergarten teachers and current HBHA kindergarten parents.

Taste of Kindergarten will be offered twice in January 2011:  Wednesday, January 5 and Tuesday, January 11, 6:00-7:15 p.m.  Please contact Tamara Lawson Schuster, Director of Admissions, to sign up for the evening you wish to attend.  Click here to view the flyer for this event.

Kindergarten Round-up
Pre-K students participate in classroom activities with the HBHA kindergarten teachers while HBHA staff members observe school readiness. Parents meet with administrators for coffee and discussion.

Your completed Admission Application and application fee are due prior to your child’s Round-up session (they may be turned in at Round-up).

The date for the 2011 Kindergarten Round-up is Friday, February 4, 2011. Session times are 8:00-9:00 am, 10:00-11:00 am, and 1:00-2:00 pm.
