CURRICULUM GOALS FOR GRADUATES
Academy students will acquire the knowledge, skills, and perseverance necessary for college entrance and study. Academy students will be able to:
- think critically, analytically, and creatively;
- communicate clearly and coherently to an identified audience;
- read actively, critically, and with understanding;
- think conceptually as well as procedurally, pose questions and support opinions, reflect and adjust, and make connections;
- research and reason to reach conclusions, draw inferences, and solve problems;
- use technology as a tool, distinguish quality and reliability of information, and integrate information from a range of sources;
- work collaboratively, recognize different perspectives, and think independently;
- recognize moral issues, develop a working knowledge and understanding of Jewish values and ethics, and uphold the dignity and rights of others; and
- acquire the knowledge of Judaism needed to live a productive Jewish life that reflects the Jewish people’s relationship with G-d, Torah, and Israel.
