Dr. Kyanka-Maggart has been at HBHA since 2003. Her first job at HBHA was teaching a multi-age fourth/fifth-grade classroom, as well as enrichment education in first and second grades. After 8 years, HBHA classes grew and she continued to teach fourth grade. She then moved into Middle School and taught Math and Science and was a sixth-grade mentor. She spent 20 years of her life as a gymnast, receiving a collegiate scholarship for that sport, and she continues to incorporate exercise and self-improvement into her daily routine. She is married to Josh Maggart and is the mother of three wonderful children, Asher, Charli, and Adrian. She enjoys being with her family, reading books, watching movies, and working out.
