Laura Severin, Middle and Upper School Director of Student Services
During the first seven years of my teaching career, I taught for the Blue Valley School District as a Special Educator and began my own social skills and consultation practice. In 2006, I started working for many families at HBHA, where I became close to the Student Services team and knew I had found a special place. The faculty, staff, students, and parents of HBHA are not just members of a school, but they are a family. Therefore, in 2011, when I was asked me to join their staff, I jumped at the opportunity and became the Learning Specialist for MS/US. Now in my ninth year, I am excited to begin my new journey as the Director of Student Services for MS/US. I love being able to help guide students to achieve their best and continue to work towards their academic and social goals. In my free time, I enjoy photography, relaxing on the patio with friends, and of course, eating tacos!! My husband and I are blessed with two sweet and active girls who love playing basketball and volleyball, and are talented gymnasts and divers. They also love playing outside, snuggling, and anything that sparkles, as do I!!
