Tammy is passionate about experiential and hands-on learning, and making the Torah come alive for students. Drawing from ancient texts, Tammy infuses the stories and lessons with present-day materials to make them relevant for students in the 21st Century. Visitors to her classroom will frequently encounter students working on new, hands-on projects or learning through engaging, class-wide games. Tammy promotes dialogue in the classroom and makes an effort to facilitates students learning from one another.
When not at HBHA, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 adorable children - 2 of which are current HBHA students. They love exploring all that Kansas City has to offer.
