More about Lisa:

My former teachers excited me through their lessons about Kansas History, Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, and Algebra-Trig.  I participated in sports under motivational and faithful coaches that pushed me to the limit and made me want to be the best I could be.  I absolutely loved school.  I now teach and coach to try to bring that same pride and joy to my students at HBHA.  

Another source of joy for me is my family.  My husband and I have three grown children, the youngest of which just graduated from Houghton College in New York.   We have a Calico cat named Jesse and two beautiful exotic parrots named Celty and Bentley (the cat and the birds tolerate each other).  Personally, I do not like to travel, but would rather work in my yard, take a long walk or read a good book.  

I praise G-d for the many blessings in my life, such as good health, family, home, and teaching at HBHA.
