Our Academy Access Program is designed to subsidize the difference between the actual cost of educating each child versus our tuition. This fund enables HBHA to keep tuition as low as possible, yet continue to provide the highest quality personnel and classroom resources available for our students.
As HBHA’s only major fundraising event, this Celebration serves to recognize distinguished community leaders and to raise much-needed money to supplement general operations and financial aid. It is one of the most successful, long-standing dinners in Kansas City, chaired and run by volunteer leadership. Typically held in the spring, CSA tickets are available at many levels. Information is posted on this website.
When you earmark a donation for HBHA’s Endowment, the funds are invested through the Jewish Community Foundation to ensure long-term financial viability for our school. An annual distribution from this Endowment Fund provides necessary funding for educational programming.
It means so much to the future education of our students when you make a bequest to HBHA via one of many available planned giving vehicles, such as cash, securities, life insurance, real estate, a gift annuity or remainder trust or a charitable lead trust. Your attorney, financial planner or the Jewish Community Foundation can assist you in these matters.
Ma’ayan, the Hebrew word for bountiful source, serves as an anchor for our unrestricted operating budget. Donations of $5,000 or more provide a base for the smooth flow of educational programming, as tuition monies arrive gradually throughout the year.
Please keep HBHA in mind when you wish to make a donation In Honor Of or In Memory Of a friend or relative. We will send an acknowledgement card to whomever you designate to let them know of your thoughtfulness.
Grandparents and special family or friends can make donations to HBHA in honor of their grandchildren, family or friends. Acknowledgements are sent directly to the students notifying them of your kindness and support.
