The Kindergarten through twelfth grade school psychologist will be a uniquely qualified and educationally certified individual that will assist the students in their learning and the teachers with their teaching. This person will apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. The school psychologist will partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in education or psychology or another closely related field;
  • Have a Master’s, specialist, or doctoral degree in school psychology or educational psychology development or related field;
  • Have experience with RULER
  • Be credentialed or currently licensed  at the state and/or national level to practice school psychology in a school setting. Individuals who are currently licensed as independent psychologists (with closely related experience) will be considered.

Substitute Teacher - K-12

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy is seeking a substitute teacher to fill in for teachers who are not able to teach their classes. The substitute teacher will arrive on time, follow modesty and professional dress, and establish rapport with the students and fellow staff members.

Ideal candidates will:

Job Responsibilities

  • follow provided lesson plans

Executive Assistant to the CFO

The Executive Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the Chief Financial Officer and Business Office. We are searching for an experienced, reliable, self-starter, task-oriented Senior Executive Assistant to support our CFO. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and address the needs of our CFO and perform administrative tasks to ensure the Business Office workflow runs smoothly.

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for performing a number of high-quality administrative duties. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, capable of managing a heavy work load, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be proactive, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain electronic and manual files, and organize documents; Photocopying, faxing, collating, etc., as needed, receive, sort, and distribute mail and supplies
  • Primary contact and liaison for Business Office, answer telephone, check voice messages, reply to emails, manage telephone or face to face enquiries
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements as needed.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Review vendor invoices, monitor expense reports, evaluate for appropriate signatures on invoices, verify supporting documents, and update A/P calendars.
  • Responsible for working with all departments to ensure appropriate payments and respond to internal and external account payables inquiries.
  • Assist/Prepare and analyze regularly scheduled financials, development, and inventory reports
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documents, as well as maintain files, records, and correspondence for meetings
  • Perform in depth account reconciliations as a result of billing, payments, credit memo, or other adjustments.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
  • Assist in resolving various customer issues such as: non-receipt of product, price discrepancy, and/or returns information when necessary
  • May research lost or misapplied payments and/or initiate refund of over payments
  • Responsible for assisting with account receivable collection process
  • Handle multiple projects meeting tight deadlines
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures; proficient in using office management technology
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work, attention to detail
  • High level of accuracy achieving desired outcomes
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills
