More about Ben: This is Ben's 23rd year of teaching. In that time, he has taught every grade level from K-12, in addition to teaching at the college level. Most recently, Ben was an Instructional Coach in grades 6-8, where he supported all curriculum areas, coordinated assessments, and provided coaching and professional development for teachers. Even though Ben's degrees are in Music Education, and he spent 11 total years as a music teacher, his related field is Educational Psychology with experience in Gifted Education. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, son, cats, and being in the garden. Ben is relatively new to the Kansas City area; he is always on the lookout for places to eat. Fun fact: Ben loves to cook and almost became a chef!
