Michal Luger
Education: Michal earned a teaching degree in Israel that was compared to a B.A. degree during their green card process.
About Michal: Michal began her teaching career in Israel, teaching grades 1-6, specializing in math for grades 5-6, and supervising math instruction for multiple schools. In 1997, Michal moved to Virginia as a shlicha (emissary) of the Jewish Agency, where she taught grades 6-8 for 10 years and grades 1-3 for four years, including a pre-algebra class. Since joining HBHA in 2011, Michal has taught 2nd grade for 13 years, occasionally teaching 6th and 7th-grade classes. Currently, Michal teaches Jewish Studies for grades 6-10 and 6th-grade math. Michal's son graduated two years ago and now attends the University of Kansas (KU).
