More About Maddy: After starting her career in public relations in Austin, Texas, Maddy found her true passion in working with children, leading her to pursue certification from the American Montessori Society and begin a meaningful teaching career.

Maddy taught at a Title 1 public school in Charleston, South Carolina, before moving to a private Jewish day school, where she taught second through eighth grade and directed the school play over her seven years there. Recently, she and her family decided it was time to come home to Kansas to be closer to family. Now, Maddy, her husband, and their 3-year-old daughter, Elle, are thrilled to join the HBHA community.

In her free time, Maddy enjoys live music, creative writing, and spending time with her family.
