Eran Reem, Science and Hebrew Teacher
I am from Petah Tikva Israel, married with three kids: one boy, two girls, and a mixed lab dog. I served in the Israeli army for seven years as a captain (company commander), and after my release, I continued to serve in the IDF reserve as a Major for another 18 years. I have a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and a teaching certificate. In Israel, I have taught Science and Biology in high school for 8 years. During 2015, my family decided to go on an adventure and move to Kansas. I have started teaching here in 2016, I teach Science, Biology, and Hebrew. I feel honored and lucky to be part of the HBHA family. My teaching philosophy is that learning should be fun and active as laughing and playing are the best tools for learning. Besides my interest in science, I like history, reading, and sport (mostly watching :-)).
My favorite quote: In a place where there are no men, strive to be a man (Pirkei Avot)
