HBHA's Annual Campaign FAQs

Q: Why an Annual Campaign?     
A: We shifted to an Annual Campaign to consolidate ‘asks’ and simplify things for our loyal supporters. By creating one major fundraising vehicle, we now focus our efforts, and yours, on raising unrestricted support for programs, financial aid, and operations.

Q: What about Matmidim?     
A: In the past, families choosing the Matmidim Jewish Studies option raised money to support the program. Matmidim is now 100% part of the HBHA curriculum, and is funded through the operations budget. We provide Jewish studies courses to fit different ritual and learning needs. We ask all families to generously contribute to the Annual Campaign, to help cover the costs of this program.

Q: What about the Civic Service Celebration?     
A: HBHA continues to host its only major fundraising event annually to honor members of our community and celebrate the many accomplishments of our students. Plans are underway for this year’s Celebration, on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown.  Please check back for sponsorship, ticket, and donation information for our 50th Celebration.
